Printmaking is a very straightforward process and very easy to grasp. Some, such as lithography and etching are more complex. Participants will be taken through the process of printmaking using a step by step method. Although it is necessary to have access to a properly equipped studio and presses in order to develop the full potential of most techniques, there are methods of printmaking that can be carried from start to finish on your kitchen or living-room table. This workshop will show you some of the techniques available for beginners. |
