For Rachel, the unimaginable happened. Soon after the birth of her first born son Issac, the midwife alerted them that something “didn’t seem quiet right” She took him to the resuscitation table. Isaac wasn’t breathing on his own. There were cords all over him. He continued to deteriorate. A chaplain arrived and asked whether we would like to baptise Isaac. They were advised that he wasn’t going to make it. The cause was never known, but the pain and sadness stayed. Rachel now has three children with her husband Pete and has written about her experience to help others.
